IMPORTANT VENUE CHANGE: Due to some last minute scheduling conflicts at CBH, Christ Church will be unable to meet at our regular location.  Instead, we invite you to join us for a backyard worship service at 1818 Cork Place.  The worship service will still take place at 4 PM, there will still be activities for Christ Church Kids (including nursery), and of course, there will still be snacks.  Join us in celebrating the Ascension like never before (and probably like never again!).

Some sneer at it, some are confused by it, many just ignore it altogether - the story of Jesus ascension.  This may be just the sort of pre-scientific story that makes many of us cringe, and yet Luke insists on telling the story twice.  What does this story have to do with our stories?  What does this story have to do with our lives?  Does this story have any meaning for those of us searching for faith?  Does it matter at all?

Whether you consider yourseld a committed Christian or a committed skeptic (or somewhere in between) we invite you to join us this week Sunday, May 20 at our 4 PM worship service. Nursery provided and children's story times for preschool-4th grade.
