Our Faith

We are a worshipping community whose beliefs and practices are rooted in the Christian Church around the world and through the ages.

Our hope is founded on the historic tenets of the Christian faith, as articulated by the ancient ecumentical creeds:

• The Apostles’ Creed
• The Nicene Creed
• The Athanasian Creed

And in three historic confessions:

• The Heidelberg Catechism
• The Belgic Confession
• The Canons of Dort

We embrace the mystery of the Christian faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Christ Church is affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church in North America, grounded in the theological heritage of the Protestant Reformation.
